Art Escape 2022 Open Studios - Sept 10-18

Winston Churchill said it well, “Salute the arts with reverence and delight which are their due.”

This inaugural event, showcasing artists residing in Bayfield County and on Madeline Island, is the brain child of the Bayfield Area Chamber of Commerce. The 9-day celebration of the arts, kicking off with the Annual Bayfield Festival of the Arts, Sept 10th & 11th, will reach across the county’s towns, cities and rural environments. Over 50 artists, performers and crafts people will be representing their work in a variety of inviting locations.

The Chamber envisions Art Escape becoming  a well-attended annual September destination event, showcasing our community of dedicated and creative artisans.

Beginning September 10th, artists, galleries, craft shops, and studios will offer experiences unique to our area. Exhibitions, demonstrations, youth activities, open houses, interactive and performance venues will provide insights into the vibrant cultures of Bayfield County and Madeline Island.
