  Ten Years of Auction Fundraising!

Art of the Elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water

Has it been ten years already!? Well, it has, and the Chequamegon Bay Arts Council is preparing for its tenth annual fundraising auction.  This year’s auction is more important than ever. Not only do we have a chance to celebrate that we’ve been successfully supporting the arts through this great event for the last ten years, but community support of the arts is more vital now than ever before.

So, in the spirit of a thriving arts community, CBAC invites everyone to attend its annual fundraising auction on Friday, July 29, 2011. This year’s event – The Art of the Elements: Earth, Air, Fire Water – features great art and fun designed around this theme.

The auction takes place at the Bayfield Lakeside Pavilion.  The live auction preview, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and cash bar, and silent auction bidding begin at 5pm.  The silent auction ends at 7pm, and at that time the live auction goes into full swing with Bayfield Mayor Larry MacDonald, wearing his trademark top hat, working with the audience to support the arts through generous bidding on one-of-a-kind art items. See this year's pieces.

Mark your calendars and hope to see you there!
